Edible Christmas sleigh
An edible centerpiece built from candy and cookies — equal parts craft and dessert, and always a hit at a kids' table.
You'll need
- 2 rectangular cookies or graham crackers, for the base
- Candy canes, for the runners
- Small candies and pretzel sticks, for the sides
- Royal icing, as glue
How to make it
- Glue two candy canes beneath a cookie base to form the sleigh's runners.
- Build up the sides with pretzel sticks and small candies, gluing as you go.
- Let dry fully before filling with mini candies as "cargo."
- Display on a platter dusted with powdered sugar "snow."
