Maple bourbon glazed ham
Real maple syrup and a splash of bourbon reduce into a sticky, deeply flavored glaze — a step up from a plain brown sugar crust.
You'll need
- 1 fully-cooked bone-in ham (8–10 lbs.)
- ¾ cup maple syrup
- ¼ cup bourbon
- 2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
How to make it
- Bake the ham tented with foil at 325°F, about 15 minutes per pound.
- Simmer maple syrup, bourbon and mustard together until slightly thickened.
- Brush over the ham for the last 25 minutes of baking, uncovered, basting again halfway through.
- Rest 15 minutes before slicing, and serve extra glaze on the side.
