Peppermint patties
No oven required — just a bowl, a fridge, and a little patience while the chocolate sets.
You'll need
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 3 tbsp. softened butter
- 3 tbsp. sweetened condensed milk
- ½ tsp. peppermint extract
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
How to make them
- Mix the powdered sugar, butter, condensed milk and peppermint extract into a firm dough.
- Roll into small balls and flatten into discs on parchment paper; freeze for 15 minutes.
- Dip each disc in melted chocolate, letting the excess drip off, then return to the parchment.
- Chill until the chocolate sets, about 20 minutes, then store in the fridge.
